My dad is a professional astrologer. He started reading horoscopes as a hobby and slowly graduated into astrology. There were times when he spent 6-8 months totally devoted to astrology to have a deep understanding of what takes precedence when there are contradictory predictions. Right from my childhood, I have seen people coming and asking him all sorts of questions. Interestingly most of the time, these were so simple and common sense that there is no need of astrology to answer these. But at times, when he predicted certain things accurately, people were thrilled ( so were we). At the same time, there were cases, where his predictions werent good. We almost have about 8000 horoscopes in our database.
I learnt a bit of astrology from him. Back in school, it was fun to generate horoscopes of classmates and make predictions. With the recent developments in software industry, we have very good softwares to generate Horoscopes based on Ephemeris.
