We are from Tenali, a small town in the costal district of Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, India. My paternal grand father moved to Tenali in 1953. We have been living there only for the past 50+ years. My dad, Dr. Narayana Murthy Piratla, is a professor at Acharya Nagarjuna University and my mom home maker. My dad is also a professional astrologer. Sarvani , Kalyan and I studied at St.Johns , Tenali. Vani and I were there from LKG till 10th, where as Kalyan studied till 8th at St.Johns. Later I shifted to Hyderabad for my IIT coaching in 1997. My mom ,sis and bro shifted to Hyd in 1999 for my sis's IIT coaching. We moved back to Tenali in 2003. After all of us (kids) moved out of house for our acads, my parents got involved in various Charitable Organizations. We support "Seetha Rama Gana Sabha" in music, "Brahmana Parishad" in financing poor Brahmin students. We are also actively involved in various religious activities like "SeethaRama Kalyana Mahostavam" , "Samuhika Kumkumarchana" etc. My paternal grandmother is from "Pillalamarri" family. My maternal grandparents are from "Bhagi" family. |
